STRENGTH TRAINING

(Semi-Private, 4-6 People) Holistic programs tailored to meet individualized needs and goals of each client. More advanced movement patterns performed, monitored, and corrected to optimize strength, increase joint stability, and improve body composition. YOUTH FITNESS

(Group Training, 6-8 people) Each new member is assessed in a variety of ways in order to identify individual goals and needs. Each session is then designed and carried out by our team of coaches with real, practical experience at all levels of physical training. The objectives of each program revolve around:

  • Teaching proper bracing and muscular activation techniques
  • Creating muscular balance and reinforcing proper posture
  • Increasing speed, agility, and cardiovascular performance
  • Improving range of motion dynamic stability at the major joints

With all of the above at the foundation; each program is designed to meet the needs of the individual from sport specific training to simply maintaining a strong, fit body.

Nutrition Care

Nutrition is an important part of the battle. Get the guidance you need to succeed. “Growing up I have always struggled with my weight and understanding what a healthy diet should look like. By the age of 12 I was on my first diet, insecure and trying every pill, fad or miracle plan to help me lean out and drop the extra pounds. This roller coaster continued into my mid twenties as I dropped over 90lbs. I dropped the muscle magazines and forgot about the next new fad I saw on the internet and learned about what it really takes to become lean. I am a constant work in progress and continue to evolve as I enjoy being on the cutting edge of what can truly help people see results. My approach is to take a look at the individual’s lifestyle, habits and path that led them to where they are now. With the individual approach we are able to work together as a team to come up with a plan that will work with your body and your lifestyle. It is a step by step approach that incorporates quality habits to help get results for the long term and take you off of the roller coaster. From that point it’s about constant evolution, monitoring and support to help you achieve the goals you are looking for.”

KIN STRETCH

A movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and USABLE ranges of motion.

The KINSTRETCH system is one born out of scientific research. All of the movements and training techniques have been selected based on a meticulous and rigorous investigation of evidence, conducted by physical conditioning and medical experts, as it pertains to body control, injury prevention, joint health, and physical longevity.

              I’ve been a member of lots of gyms over the years. Probably the main reason for not staying with any of them was a personal lack of accountability. When I had workout partners I would show up, work hard and be happy. I had no real interaction with staff. They usually seem to be there to sell a membership and rescue you if you do something wrong.

                Spire is different. Ben and the trainers are not only great at what they do, they are engaging and motivating. They become friends so that if the other members are not around, you still feel like you need to show up and work so as not to let yourself and your partners down. It’s unique in my experience.

                  While it’s super important to have a staff that is well versed in what they do (the staff of spire certainly are and it shows) the people you actually work out amongst and with are important too. Ben and crew seem to attract an interesting cross section of very nice people that form a community. Again, unique in my personal experience. The days I missed made me feel a little guilty. I missed the camaraderie. They felt like friends and I WANTED to be there.

The trainers are all very knowledgeable, patient and willing to help you work through whatever your body is (or isn’t) feeling! They cater to your needs + really help you work on form/the basics before taking you to the next level!                         I started training with Ben in 2014, as a sophomore in high school. At that time, I was a teenager mostly focused on looking cute and being a good basketball player. Little did I know the impact that he (and later, the Spire community) would have on my life to this day. Over the years, Ben and the team have ingrained in me healthy habits, not just in the gym, but in all aspects of my daily routines (including nutrition, sleep, water intake, movement, physique goals, sports, etc). I remember my youth strength training sessions at Spire being the highlight of my day back in high school. And even now, 9 years later, getting to go to a workout class after work at Spire is often still the best part of my day. I also want to shoutout Devon and Ben, who are both very in tune with the latest trends, making sure their clients are getting the best service and advice they can, and understanding that research on health and nutrition is ever-evolving, so staying in the know is important. I'm still with the team 9 years later and I don't intend on leaving anytime soon. 10/10 - thanks guys!

                          I’ve been with Spire for a long time and it’s more than your average gym, it really is a community. My problem with big box gym memberships and working out alone is that there’s nobody to hold me accountable. I’ve always had trouble making a habit out of exercise, and without consistency, it’s just another failed New Year’s resolution. At Spire, the personal trainers always push me to lift more than I think I can, go further and faster than I think I’m capable of. The group classes provide a safe, non-intimidating environment for everyone to get the most out of their individual workout AND have the added accountability to a group of like-minded people who want to see you come back for the next session. Spire built my self-confidence from the ground up and included me in a network of people who are all cheering each other on. I couldn’t ask for a better gym and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re on the fence, check it out! You’ll be made to feel right at home!
